April 27th, 2011, just after I had visited Tuscaloosa, AL for the first time a huge amount of severe storms moved through and destroyed a band of buildings I was familiar with.
This is a three-dimensional radar rendering of the structure of one of that day’s extremely intense supercells/tornadoes as it moved through Tuscaloosa.
A couple weeks earlier and I would've been stuck there during this storm.
