Flying with Liquids? I don't think so...

Just to remind you all.  I'm coming back from a short vacation today and flying home.  My husband bought me a large Sprite bottle unopened back from his BCS game last night and I haven't touched it.  I was curious to see if TSA would allow an unopened bottle through security.  Well, they don't.  I showed them, I told them, and they said no.  So I tried to give it to the agent and she said she couldn't take, that TSA won't allow them to.  So I opened it up, took a big swig and then dumped a perfectly good bottle in the trash.  I saw a lot of others in there as well.  Way to go TSA!  Wasting money, time, and resources for our safety.
