Chynna Phillips - sour grapes or telling it like it is?
The singer was kicked off "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday night, and Phillips says she would not call the show a dancing competition.
"It really does come down to the votes," Phillips told The Huffington Post. "And that's kind of sad because it's supposed to be a dance competition, but it's actually a popularity contest, which makes me kind of sad."
She continued, "You know, you have to have a little bit of faith that there are people out there who are truly voting for their favorite dance, not their favorite person, because it is a dance competition and people are working really hard. It would be very sad if that was undermined, and it looks to me like that keeps getting undermined."
Her partner Tony Dovolani agreed, "I've been on the show for 12 seasons, and Chynna has been a breath of fresh air for me. As much pull we have as teachers, in the end, it's all about the celebrity."

So this is the second week in a row where the dumb blond (that I think is boring to watch and a loser to begin with) is complaining to anyone who will listen how the show sucks and that it doesn't matter how good of a dancer you are, it all comes down to being the most popular.
Have these people ever watched the previous seasons? This is pretty much the way the show has always worked from what I can tell (or any televised competition where the public gets to vote on whatever.) I also have not watched previous seasons so I'm learning along the way, but even I can figure that out. I'm only voting for Carson because he is entertaining to watch. His performances make me laugh and smile. I want to see what he's going to do next week so I keep voting as many times as they will let me (apparently that is 9 times per phone number or email address). I don't want him to go home because then I won't get to be entertained and laugh anymore on Monday nights. Plus I won't watch anymore because I wouldn't care. Carson is not a good dancer technically, but he's damn entertaining to watch and that's all I really care about.
Like I said, the contestants get $10,000 per week that they stay in the competition as well as $100,000 for the big winner. Chynna Phillips hasn't done much lately and her husband isn't either (William Baldwin) so the extra money I'm sure they would like to have. I think the losers who say stuff like this are bitter that they don't get the money they think they deserve for being good dancers. I have to say I don't agree. Sometimes, the people who are not the best dancers are still practicing the most, or trying the hardest to do their best. They deserve to continue as long as they are entertaining to watch. I kinda' like Chaz Bono because I know he's dancing under a lot of pressure and he's trying. Carson loves to compete and wants to win stuff like most improved each week, and practices more than the other contestants even though he's coordinated challenged. JR Martinez or Rodriguez or whatever the war vets name is, he's been through a horrible thing and I think he has a good spirit so I like him. Rikki Lake is another person that I don't mind seeing stay and she will probably end up winning.
The people that are talentless AND boring to watch that should go home are Rob Kardashian, Hope Solo, Nancy Grace (though her Irish partner is SOOOOOO hot!), and David Arquette.
Next week is 80's week so I can't wait!!!!!
