American Horror Story

So there's a new show on the FX network.
It's called American Horror Story it just premiered on Wednesday night at 10pm.  It's rated mature for sex, violence, language, and nudity.  It's from the makers of Nip/Tuck so I imagined they really couldn't get away from that blend.  If you couldn't watch it that night, you can still watch in on the internet.

It's about a family that moves from Boston to Los Angeles after the wife has a miscarriage, and she finds her husband cheating on her in their house with one of his young students.  They have a teenage girl as well, who's the typical smart ass, smoking, trouble maker.
They bought this old haunted house that's had quite a few people die in it and it seems to want more.
So far, it's not too scary.  It's bizarre at some points, and I know it's trying to be quirky like Twin Peaks was (which I loved when it was on!)
I think with this first episode they were trying a bit too hard to appeal to a certain niche of fans.  Anyway, I wasn't too impressed, but I will give it another couple of episodes to see where it goes and if the first night was just everyone working out jitters and such.
I did like Dylan McDermott's nakedness and bare ass during the show.  That's always nice and the sexy stuff was pretty hot, so if nothing else, it's good to get you hot and bothered.
